The Norman rhetorical shouting match was only the opening round in what will be a determined effort to both implement and resist the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s recently announced $5 billion, 15 years long ACCESS plan to, among other major projects, significantly expand the network of turnpikes surrounding the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
