Nigerian airstrikes have eliminated notorious bandit kingpins, Halilu Buzu and Alaji Gana in Zamfara, in the northwestern part of the country. According to PRNigeria, Halilu Buzu was killed in an air strike by Nigerian Air Force bombers on October 21, 2022, at Sububu, Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, while Alaji Gana was killed on November 14, 2022, at Kidandan Forest in the Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
