Ty Garbin Credit Kent County Sheriff's Office Ty Gerard Garbin, of Hartland, Michigan, admitted his guilt in a change of plea hearing conducted by Chief United States District Court Judge Robert J. Jonker. The Court scheduled Garbin’s sentencing on July 8, 2021, at 3:00pm. He remains in the custody of the United States Marshal pending sentencing. Garbin pleaded guilty pursuant to an agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Michigan.
