Plainville parades its love for 12-year-old Malia Jusczyk as she battles cancer

PLAINVILLE There was no disguising the love in Plainville on a mild spring evening.
It was heralded by blaring sirens, flashing lights, honking horns, music and shouts, adorned with handmade signs, balloons, streamers, bubbles, pink and blue powder smoke, and a crowd of white lawn signs with red hearts on them, and expressed with words like, You ve got this, Girl! We love you! and Malia Strong X2!
One after another, fire engines, ambulances, police cruisers and family cars proceeded past the Cowell Street home of nearly 13-year-old Malia Jusczyk and her family on May 7: A parade of love for a girl who has won countless hearts in her community. ....
