Recent changes in CDC mask guidance have left many in Stark County and around the country puzzled and vexed. "I heard about it, but I'm a bit confused," Kiesha Joyner said as she crossed Lincoln Way E in downtown Massillon. "I'm vaccinated, and I thought I was safe now." JoAnn Cornell, walking in the midday heat with her sister along Lincoln Way, said that she had seen news about guidance but was a little bewildered by the health agency's sudden change of tune. She and her sister, both vaccinated, were divided on whether they would be willing to mask up again.
