Truman State University hosted a candlelight celebration at Kirk Memorial on Jan. 28, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the fire that destroyed the original Baldwin Hall and the library.
The 1924 fire started at approximately 3 PM, and quickly overtook the first Baldwin Hall and the old library.

Mr. R.J. Haymon age 86, of Powell passed away on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023.
