A SCHOOLGIRL has revealed how she put money set aside for her birthday party, which had to be cancelled, to good use.

A WREATH has been laid to mark the birthday of a celebrated Musselburgh doctor who helped the community during the cholera epidemic of 1832. Although the tribute to David Macbeth Moir, who was the town’s medical officer, takes place annually, it was particularly poignant this year amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
