TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Shawnee County District Attorney's office says a man accused of murdering a Topeka man was convicted Thursday.
Males were victims in 15 of the homicides so far in 2022 on a list maintained by the Topeka Police Department.
Emmanuel R. Walker, 35, has been charged with crimes that include first-degree murder in last July's central Topeka shooting death of Kirk Sexton, 34.
Kirk Sexton, 34, of Topeka, has been identified as the man fatally shot late Saturday in the area of S.W. 8th and Western Avenue.
