Loving husband, devoted father, proud grandpa, and friend to many, George peacefully passed at the age of 90 surrounded by family on Sunday May 12, 2024. George was born on June 22, 1933, in Virginia MN. Following junior college, he went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean war. After discharge from the Army, he married Janet (Orazem) from Eveleth, MN on January 14, 1956. He went on to receive a Teaching Degree from UMD and after several years of teaching throughout MN, he settled in the Duluth area where he taught elementary education, retiring after 34 years. ....
