MEDFORD, Ore. – On Tuesday, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown outlined how the state will reopen. She says at least 70% of the state needs to be vaccinated to reopen the economy. But she also is setting goals for individual counties to show how they can get to the state’s lower risk tier and open up more. Gov. KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — The open burning window in Klamath County closes tomorrow at noon. Klamath County Public Health says dry conditions influenced by drought, low humidity, and wind will make burning dangerous in the next several days. It says all fires must be extinguished tomorrow by 12 p.m. “We live in a basin, which means that our weather patterns can find us having inversions keeping the smoke in place, which is not healthy for us,” said PIO for Klamath Co. KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – About 30 Klamath Co. residents rallied in front of the Link River Wednesday. The locals, primarily involved in agriculture were peacefully protesting the amount of water they are getting to use for farming. According to Klamath Co. Commissioner, Donnie Boyd they’re getting about a 10th of the water they usually do. But Boyd said a judge ordered the county to take control of link lake. “They’re saying our livelihood is going down Link River.
