INDIANAPOLIS — The eight people killed during the FedEx mass shooting were honored Saturday during a memorial held at Lucas Oil Stadium. The event was organized by the Sikh Coalition to mourn the lives lost and to spread love and solidarity.
Governor Holcomb along with several other elected officials shared their words of sympathy in person, through letters and video messages.

Brandon Scott Hole, 19, a former worker at the Indianapolis FedEx facility, killed eight people on April 15 before killing himself. Four of those killed were Sikhs, including three women.

Those four minutes, late on a Thursday night when some FedEx workers were on the dinner breaks and others were picking up their checks, shattered not only the families of those lost, but also Indianapolis’ tight-knit Sikh community.
