The recruitment of class of 2023 prospects is just getting started, but one Oregon high school football prospect is already beginning to emerge as a national recruit.
Central Catholic sophomore Riley Williams entered the week with offers from Arizona State, Oregon and Oregon State, and saw that trend continue.
Early in the week, 247Sports named the 6-foot-6, 230-pound pass-catcher the No. 1 prospect in the state of Oregon for the class of 2023, listing him as a four-star prospect, the nation’s No. 140 overall prospect and the No 7 tight end.

February is always a quiet month on the recruiting trail, but that has been especially the case this year, as the NCAA’s emergency dead period has been extended until the end of May.
