Centre Approves Krishnapatnam Industrial Corridor Node At Rs 2,139 Crore

NEW DELHI: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved three proposals from the Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), which includes two Industrial Corridor nodes in Krishnapatnam and Tumakuru at estimated cost of ₹7,725 cr.
The Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Andhra Pradesh will be developed at an estimated cost of Rs. 2,139.44 crore and around 98,000 persons are estimated to be employed in the first phase.
The objective of Industrial Corridor Programme is the creation of greenfield industrial cities with sustainable, ‘plug n play’, ICT enabled utilities to facilitate the manufacturing investments into the country by providing quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure to industries, the CCEA said in a press release. ....

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved proposals of Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT) for construction of various infrastructure projects totalling Rs 7,725.05 crore. 
These include projects in Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Andhra Pradesh with an estimated cost of the project of Rs. 2,139.44 crore; Tumakuru Industrial Area in Karnataka with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,701.81 crore and the Multi-Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH) and Multi-Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh with an estimated cost of Rs. 3,883.80 crore. ....

New Delhi [India], December 30 (ANI): The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved industrial corridor nodes at Andhra Pradesh s Krishnapatnam and Karnataka s Tumakuru under Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC) and Multi Modal Logistics Hub and Multi Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Greater Noida.
The construction of Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Andhra Pradesh has got the Cabinet s approval with an estimated cost of the project of Rs 2,139.44 crores and Tumakuru Industrial Area in Karnataka with an estimated cost of Rs 1,701.81 crores.
The estimated cost of Multi Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH) and Multi Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Greater Noida is Rs 3,883.80 crores. ....

Cabinet clears modified scheme to enhance ethanol distillation capacity in country

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, CCEA has approved modified scheme to enhance ethanol distillation capacity in the country for producing 1st Generation, 1G ethanol from feed stocks such as cereals like rice, wheat, barley, corn and sorghum and sugarcane, sugar beet etc.
 
Briefing the media in New Delhi today  after the Cabinet meeting, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, Cabinet approved an interest subvention of 4 thousand 5 hundred 73 crore rupees for new distilleries producing ethanol. He said, India will need about one thousand crore litre of ethanol by 2030 with a view to cut dependency on imports for meeting oil needs. He said India currently has a capacity of 684 crore litres. ....
