In addition to Eastridge's appointment, the Bemidji school board discussed the district’s cost mitigation strategy at a special meeting on Monday.
A special Bemidji Area Schools Board of Education meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 27, in the district office board room.
After more discussion, the board voted unanimously to approve the first reading of the new procedures and to adjust public comment’s placement for the March meeting.
Fenner currently serves as director of business services for Bemidji Area Schools and her appointment is effective March 13.
Bemidji school board members Anna Manecke, Dave Wall and Jenny Frenzel were sworn in to their four-year terms on Monday.
