KSRTC conductor held guilty of sexually harassing a minor girl. The convicted is Daval Sab from Bagalkot. He was sentenced to one year of simple imprisonment and a penalty of Rs 5,000 under IPC section 509. Under Section 12 of Pocso Act, he was sentenced to two years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000. The judge also ordered the district legal services authority to pay compensation of Rs 10,000 to the minor girl.

Mangaluru: The presence of chicken meat in a bus, that a passenger was carrying, led to an intense argument between him and the KSRTC bus conductor on.

The KSRTC bus was on its way from Bangalore to Chikmagalur when a woman passenger went into labour. 

A female bus conductor helped a pregnant woman to deliver a baby on a moving bus in Karnataka. The incident occurred on Monday on the Bengaluru-Chikkamagaluru route on the state-run bus ( number: KA 18 F 0865).
