समाजवादी पार्टी के कद्दावर नेता और अभी सीतापुर जेल में बंद आजम खान की मुश्किलें बढ़ सकती हैं। जल निगम में 1,300 पदों पर भर्तियों के मामले में एसआईटी की ओर से आजम खान समेत आठ के खिलाफ दाखिल आरोपपत्र का एंटी करप्शन सीबीआई (सेंट्रल) कोर्ट के विशेष न्यायाधीश मनोज पांडेय ने संज्ञान लिया है।
अब आजम समेत आठ अभियुक्तों के खिलाफ ट्रायल शुरू होगा। 19 जुलाई को विडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए सीतापुर जेल से ही उनकी पेशी होगी। उन्हें इस मामले में न्यायिक हिरासत में लेने पर सुनवाई होगी। बाकी सात अभियुक्तों को तीन अगस्त को पेशी के लिए कोर्ट की तरफ से समन जारी किए जाएंगे।
इन आरोपियों के खिलाफ भी ट्रायल
एसआईटी ने आजम और जल निगम के इंजिनियर गिरीश चंद्र श्रीवास्तव के खिलाफ आईपीसी की धारा 201, 204, 420, 467,468, 471, 120बी व 13 भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत चार्जशीट दाखिल की थी।
छह अन्य अभियुक्तों नीरज मलिक, विश्वजीत सिंह, अजय कुमार यादव, संतोष कुमार रस्तोगी, रोमन फर्नांडीज और कुलदीप सिंह नेगी के खिलाफ आईपीसी की धारा 201, 204, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120बी व 66 आईटी ऐक्ट के तहत चार्जशीट दाखिल की थी। ये आरोपी परीक्षा करवाने वाली संस्था अपटेक से जुड़े हैं।
नवंबर में जारी हुआ था वारंट बी
आजम के खिलाफ अभियोजन स्वीकृति मिलने के बाद कोर्ट ने 18 नवंबर 2020 को वारंट बी जारी किया था। इसे विवेचक (ज्यूडिकेटर) की ओर से 19 नवंबर, 2020 को सीतापुर जेल में प्राप्त करा दिया गया था। आजम अन्य मुकदमों के मामले में पहले से जेल में थे, इसलिए उनके खिलाफ वारंट बी जारी हुआ था।
ये आरोप हैं:-
- मनचाही भर्तियां करवाने के लिए आपराधिक साजिश के तहत एपटेक का चयन।
- भर्ती के लिए एपटेक और जल निगम के बीच हुए अनुबंध का उल्लंघन।
- परीक्षा खत्म होने के बाद ऑनलाइन आंसर-की जारी न किए जाने के बावजूद भर्ती प्रक्रिया चलती रही।
- एपटेक के अधिकारियों से मिलीभगत कर परीक्षा के प्राइमरी डेटा को क्लाउड सर्वर से मिटाकर साक्ष्य नष्ट करना।
- रिजल्ट में मूल सीबीटी अंक बढ़वाकर अपात्रों का चयन।
