The family of Avery Boyd, who was killed at near the Washington Corridor in Dec. 2022, increased the reward for information regarding his death.
Houston police said Avery, 28, was killed on Dec. 1. Investigators said he was visiting an apartment complex on Summer Street in Sawyer Heights when he was shot.
Avery Boyd was shot and killed in the 3000 block of Summer Street on December 1.
On Wednesday, three mothers from the Houston area came together with one painful commonality. All of their sons were murdered last year, and they’re still hoping for justice.
