Court Upholds Life Sentence For Two Nigerians Over Drugs Smuggling In Cambodia
An Appeal Court in Phnom Penh in Cambodia has upheld the life sentence given by the municipal court to two Nigerian men, a Filipina and Cambodian woman, in connection with smuggling of more than 2.5 kilogrammes of cocaine. In 2014, two Nigerian cloth vendors, Emmanuel Thankgod and Michael Sunshine were arrested for their involvement in drug trafficking from Brazil to Cambodia.
