MILLERSBURG — As a child growing up in the Holmesville area, Kyle Yoder often used to accompany his father to the firehouse in Prairie Township, where his father served as chief. So it is little wonder, once Yoder graduated from Waynedale High School in 1995, he wanted to become a firefighter. "I guess you can say, it was in my blood," he said. He also served on Holmes Fire District No. 1.
