Ottawa life-sciences company Avivagen has ceased operations after the embattled firm’s lengthy search for a buyer came up empty.
Troubled Ottawa-based life sciences firm Avivagen says it has received “numerous responses” from companies that are interested in potentially acquiring all or part of its operations.
Avivagen is reviewing “strategic alternatives” that could include selling the embattled Ottawa-based life sciences company as it struggles to gain market traction for its natural immune-boosting compound.
Deals will see Ottawa-based company ship a total of about six tonnes of its immune-boosting compound to poultry, livestock and dairy producers in the three countries.
