Liberation events across Jersey
May 10, 2021 A SERIES of community events celebrating Liberation Day took place over the weekend, after the usual anniversary proceedings were restricted by the pandemic. The 'Lib Stream' event was held at Gorey Castle on Saturday night to celebrate the 76th anniversary of Liberation Day. Islanders were able to tune in online and watch a line-up of local DJ's perform from the unique venue. It also featured Moya, a local singer and star of ITV's 'The Voice' 2019.
