Prominent McLean County labor leader passes away at age 82 MCLEAN COUNTY (HOI) -- One of the county's most prominent labor leaders is being remembered for his many decades of community service. Ronn Morehead, who was president of the Bloomington and Normal Trades and Labor Assembly for 40 years, died Saturday morning.  He was 82. Longest running Labor day parade will return in Galesburg The Galesburg Labor Day parade returns at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 6, in downtown Galesburg. The Galesburg Trades and Labor Assembly is now looking for participants for its 129th annual labor day parade, after a quieter parade last year.
