Vietnam Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Le Van Thanh has proposed that Singapore consider the official acceptance of Vietnamese workers through its Visa Work Permit scheme.
“As we celebrate India's independence, we can also highlight the remarkable progress we have achieved together across various domains. Trade and investment have stood as foundational pillars of our enduring relationship, and in 2022 our bilateral trade amounted to some USD 1.4 billion,” noted Algaoud.
Republic of the Philippines-United Arab Emirates 2021 Memorandum of Understanding on Labour Cooperation and Annex Protocols for Domestic Workers, had resulted in positives, such that distressed domestic workers are now only a handful compared to years back.
