"On my father's side alone, I'd say, I think we counted around 37 killed," Mekdad said. "My mother has a cousin. She's 38 years old and she has three children. Nov. 3, her house was hit, and she was literally pulled from underneath the rubble, her and her children. She lost one of her children in that attack."
