LAKEVILLE, Minn. Police and Lakeville area school officials say an investigation has determined a bomb threat that closed all schools in the district Friday is not credible.
Lakeville area schools superintendent Michael Baumann and Lakeville Police Chief Jeff Long met with reporters early Friday afternoon, to explain the sequence of events that sparked the decision to have students stay home.  ....

Eden Prairie police issue warning after learning of planned Nerf Wars game
In a blog post the department says the game can lead to extremely dangerous, even deadly behavior like reckless driving and failing to use a seatbelt.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.

Police in Eden Prairie are issuing a warning after learning that students at the local high school are planning a Nerf Wars game, an activity that has in the past led to behavior that is dangerous or even deadly. 
The department posted a blog on its website saying officers had learned students at Eden Prairie High School had organized a game set to begin this week. Nerf Wars involves forming teams, hunting down opponents and shooting them with a Nerf gun to eliminate the competition.  ....
