Michiganders can donate part or all of their state tax refund to the Animal Welfare Fund, which helps local shelters take care of the furry friends in their care.
Twenty-two dogs are now in Pound Buddies' care after they were seized by authorities. The organization is hopeful that one day the animals will be able to be adopted out.
