University to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month

The University of Cumbria is bringing together a host of North West organisations for a panel discussion to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month.
‘A Life Worth Living’ is taking place on February 25 and is free and open to everyone to attend, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity, including allies.

Student volunteers record special Christmas film for Lancaster schoolchildren
Student volunteers at Lancaster University have a made a special festive film for local children to enjoy after Covid restrictions caused disruption to traditional school nativity plays and pantos.

Members of Lancaster University Theatre Group and student TV station LA1TV worked together to produce a film of students reading the famous Clement Clarke Moore poem A Visit from St. Nicholas to be shown in schools around the Lancaster area.
The project was coordinated by the Children and Young People s Partnership team at Lancaster University Students Union. ....
