It was mixed results for the Mountain Home Christian Academy (MHCA) teams at the Heartland Christian Athletics Association 2A State Tournament in Little Rock.
Mountain Home Christian Academy’s basketball teams had a good night Friday, as they went on the road and swept Mountain Grove Christian.
The Eagles took the varsity boys’ game 46-39. Landon Jines led Mountain Home Christian with 18 points, and Gideon Spray added 11.
Mountain Home Christian also won the varsity girls’ contest 55-33. The Lady Eagles were led by Caroline Robinson with 16 points, Naomi Spray scored 15, and Olivia Spray chipped in 12.
The evening began with Mountain Home Christian winning the 14-and-under boys’ game 64-15. Isaac Uhlmann was the 14-and-under Eagles’ leading scorer with 16 points, and Gabe Spray had 14.
