Photograph posted by davsamp with the description: My first dragonfly species of the year (apart from an Azure Damselfly and Large Red Damselfly). Found near a park local to Bishops Stortford. Lucky for me as it 'zoomed' past me, the insect landed on a dead thistle (I think) only a few feet away.
