Authorities arrest man in Mediapolis shooting incident
Burlington, IA- Authorities have made an arrest in a shooting incident in Mediapolis. On Saturday, March 19th, 2022, at 4:02 AM, the Des Moines County Sheriff's Office responded to 411 North St. in Mediapolis in reference to a person that had been shot. Upon arrival deputies located 44-year-old Larry Beeding and 25-year-old Aren Shafer, both of Mediapolis suffering from gunshot wounds. During the investigation, deputies and investigators with the Des Moines County Sheriff's Office found that Beeding recklessly discharged a firearm inside the residence.
