Johnny Buckshot took his second straight $11,600 Preferred Trot on Tuesday (April 23) evening at The Raceway at the Western Fair District. In addition to steering the Katie Macneil student to victory in the Preferred, Tyler Borth wrote his ticket into the 2024 National Driving Championship with the highest number of points accrued in the Ontario Regional Driving Championship (ORDC).
In the $11,600 Preferred Trot at The Raceway at the Western Fair District, Lass Shot was the sole mare in the field made up of six boys. Scratched down to a field of five, Lass Shot shot to the top of the Wednesday (March 27) feature and never looked back, winning from gate-to-wire by 1-1-3/4 lengths.
The $13,000 Preferred Handicap Trot at The Raceway at the Western Fair District was won with ease on Tuesday (Nov. 29) by a dominant Sizzlen Hot Herbie.
