The driver of the Jeep fled the scene after hitting and killing 38-year-old Latasha Blake.
Troopers say on Friday, March 31 just before 8 p.m., state police were called to the intersection of Route 13 and Route 175 for a hit-and-run.
Virginia State Police are looking for a driver who they say killed a pedestrian in Accomack County before leaving the scene of the crash.
Police say an unknown vehicle, described as a black jeep with New York registration, struck and ran over the pedestrian then left the scene.
