Is going to be a disaster. this guy is awful. and yet, they cleared the field for him because they were all scared of donald trump. and that s what this comes down to. can these guys get the courage to now say, not just blame trump and start cycling back up to him, but blame him and say, no, we are going to beat you, we re gonna put up candidates that are better than yours, and show you how big of a loser you are? that s what republicans need to do. and i just am not seeing any evidence they re actually doing that. and i think had they done that in georgia, look at brian kemp and brad raffensperger, if they ran a candidate like that for the senate, they probably would ve won. but latasha, they had to drag trump out of the white house kicking and screaming. given what we know about this guy, will nudging trump do anything? oh no, i have a slightly different take. on one hand, i understand that they are frustrated with trump. the truth of the matter they ve always been frustrated wit ....
Possible, but what gabriel sterling and brad raffensperger have said is their attorneys reviewed the law, and they don t think it s possible, and that they basically misspoke. this all, as you mentioned, comes as a result of that new election law, and we know, even when that law was being debated, reporters like me and my colleagues at the ajc asked republicans, why are you doing this? they didn t have a clear answer. it was apparent that a lot of the changes that republicans implemented in senate bill 202 was in direct response to the democrat successes in 2020 and those 2021 run-offs. one of them is changing the game, changing how run-offs are done. yeah, and you know, latasha, we all know, if you know a little bit of american history, the whole purpose for run-offs is to prevent the reconstruction from happening again, so even if you win in a majority, if black ....
