Protesting farmers at Delhi s borders have extended their support to 21-year-old environmental activist Disha Ravi after police arrested her for her alleged involvement in creating the toolkit shared by teen climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter.

Farmers' protest LIVE Updates: Farmer leader says kind of permission granted for tractor rally not right

Farmers, protesting at Delhi borders over the Centre s farm laws, are all geared up to carry out a tractor march on Republic Day on Tuesday. The farmers union reached an
agreement with the Delhi Police on Sunday to carry out the tractor march peacefully. Three routes, originating from Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur border points, have been finalized for the march, a farmer leader said.
The
Delhi Police said that the first route will begin from Singhu border and will move from Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar to Bawana. Similarly, 62-km long second route will pass through Nangloi-Najafgarh and Jharoda after starting from Tikri border. The third route will lead to Apsara border and Hapur after starting from Ghazipur. All of these processions will converge at Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway (KMP). ....

Farmers unions that have been protesting against the farm laws said on Saturday that they have reached a breakthrough with Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh police over the proposed tractor march on Republic Day. Samyukta Kisan Morcha said that their leaders were able to jointly finalise routes for the Kisan Republic Day parade. Preparations are in full swing for disciplined conduct of the same. Response from farmers and their supporters has been tremendous from all over the country, the statement said. ....
