Two administrations that are talking past each other. it was a very compelling speech by secretary kerry. i think to have the desired effect, it probably should have been delivered two years ago. but it really has brought the obama administration full circle. you know, out of the gate eight years ago, it made a settlement freeze precondition for the launching negotiations. that was probably a tactical mistake in retrospect, but it has come back to the settlement issue at the end of its eight-year term, but it may have the perverse effect, obviously, the netanyahu administration is just now counting the days until obama leaves office, but i worry that while the speech was intended to reflect accurately that the two-state solution is on life support, it may propel the trump administration to take some gestures towards israel that could make any kind of agreement in the near term, if at all, make that kind of ....
