Sterling Girl Scouts manage food drives during the holiday season
STERLING – Girl Scout Troop 64538 held a food drive before the holiday season to benefit Operation: Food is Love. The drive resulted in 300 cans of non-perishable food and 50 pies collected in just over a week and a half. “We called the fall the ‘Season of Giving’, which was based on how our troop could make a small difference,” said troop co-leader Laura Darrow.
