RESIDENTS have objected after an outline planning application was submitted for 65 affordable homes in Ponteland.

Developers have unveiled further plans for a proposed housing development in Ponteland. Plans for 65 new affordable homes have been put forward for land at the southern end of Western Way in Darras Hall. However, the plot for the proposed development sits outside of the boundary for the Darras Hall Estate Byelaws. Developers have attempted to reassure existing residents that the new homes will be designed to fit in with the local area.
