Teacher Lauren Epps has started a petition to Denver Public Schools in hopes of bringing back snow days.
DPS did not call for a snow day despite nearly a foot of snow dumping late Wednesday and early Thursday — the city’s biggest snowmaker in five years. Pre-pandemic Thursday likely would’ve been filled with hot cocoa and sledding. Instead, DPS transitioned into a fully remote learning day.
