She bought the Cross Street business in 2011, after spending five years there as an employee. The Isle of Wight Lottery helped with her business loan and she's not only been able to pay that back, but she hasn't looked back since. She got into the trade after working as a Saturday assistant, at Tomlinson's florists in Newport. Lockdown has provided some challenging conditions, since March 2020, but a few tweaks have helped the team get through.
