Work begins on new refurbishment at Queensferry Primary School

WORK has started on building a brand new school refurbishment in Flintshire. The £11m Plas Derwen (PPRU), Ty Calon - Community Hub and Queensferry Primary School refurbishment will provide much needed regeneration for the site. Dan Hampson a representative from Kier performed the official turf cutting ceremony on Monday, 21 December which was also attended virtually by councillors, officials and representatives of the company building the facilities, Kier Group. British Columbia adds another 737 Coronavirus cases, 11 deaths

B.C. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry. (via THE CANADIAN PRESS) COVID-19 numbers remain high throughout B.C., while the north saw a flurry of activity related to the virus.  In a written statement today (Dec. 11), Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced 737 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours for a new grand total of 40,797.  Of those, Northern Health has 41, which brings the authority's recorded number to 1,240.
