Around 1,000 members of the faith-based group, Eight Days of Hope, took to Harlem Heights to help residents who have been living without roofs or drywall and other parts of their homes since Ian bullied through last September. While they were making those critical fixes, they were getting a lot of emotional energy in return.
More than 1,000 people connected with Eight Days of Hope, an all-volunteer and faith-based national organization, rolled into Fort Myers Saturday to provide help to more than 100 families in the Harlem Heights area impacted by Hurricane Ian through free home repairs.
