Two men have appeared in court in connection with an alleged rape and perverting the course of public justice.
Lee Justin Busby and Daniel Summers were brought before Teesside Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Busby is charged with committing an act or series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice in Newton Aycliffe.
The 49-year-old is alleged to have provided guidance to a victim of domestic abuse, which had a tendency to pervert the course of public justice, between July 1 and 31, last year. ....
