As we reported yesterday, AEW Dynamite dropped from last week’s episode but still won the night with 743,000 viewers and a 0.32 rating (415,000) in the key 18-49 demographic, compared to NXT’s 691,000 viewers and 0.18 in 180-49 (229,000 viewers). Dynamite was good enough for 4th place for the night while NXT ranked at #25. Kevin’s WWE NXT Review 3.10.21   William Regal is out for the “game-changing” announcements. He throws to a video package about TakeOvers, announcing that for the first time, we’re getting a two-night TakeOver.  TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, on 4/7 on USA and 4/8 on Peacock. The second announcement sees the women’s roster gathered on the stage. He puts over the division and then brings the Dusty Cup winners, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez, into the ring. A Cruiserweight title reunification match is among several big things cooking on the road to TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

A match to determine an Undisputed NXT Cruiserweight Champion looks to be on the horizon. On NXT tonight, a video aired with Jordan Devlin announcing that he's coming to NXT next Wednesday. WWE lists Devlin and Santos Escobar as both being NXT Cruiserweight Champions. Devlin mentioned in tonight's video that April's two-night NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver event is coming soon. Devlin said it would be a shame if the biggest TakeOver in history didn't have the real NXT Cruiserweight Champion on the card. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan vs. Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa This is our replacement for the MSK match but it’s non-title. Burch and Thatcher trade mat work to begin. Both guys tease tagging out but stay to fight more. Ciampa becomes legal and so does Oney soon after, changing the tide. Ciampa turns him inside out with a clothesline and tags in Thatcher for a tandem uppercut spot that gets two.
