Police have released an appeal for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage in Newbury.
There have been a number of burglaries and thefts in Newbury and Thatcham this month.
A driver with numerous previous convictions has narrowly avoided being sent back to prison.
The incident took place on Fir Tree Lane, Newbury, at around 12.40pm yesterday, April 13. Officers attempted to stop the black Vauxhall Astra (2014 plate) however the driver failed to stop when asked, and attempted to drive away from the officers. In the driver's escape they crashed into a police vehicle and a parked car, before driving the wrong way down a one-way street. Investigating officer PC Joe Gawronski said: "We want to speak to anyone who has seen this vehicle driving in and around Newbury yesterday.
