Subscribe SAN ANTONIO (March 4, 2021) – Today at City Council, the Military Dr. trailhead was formally named after Ms. Dora Jordan. Ms. Jordan was a daughter of San Antonio who committed thirty-two years of her life in service to the City of San Antonio as an employee of the Parks and Recreation Department. Ms. Jordan began her career with the Parks and Recreation Department as a Clerk II and advanced to a Special Activities Coordinator while mentoring and encouraging other women of color to pursue opportunities within the City of San Antonio.
