(July 12, 2021) Nikolas Soren Goodich will debut his Plexiglass Portraits installation at the LA Art Show from July 29 to August 1, 2021 in Booth 1220, located in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center (1201 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015). Well-known in Los Angeles for his signature images of duality rendered as painted facial profiles seen together or apart, Nikolas Soren Goodich was trained at the Rhode Island School of Design, Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Art Institute of Chicago, and completed his undergraduate degree in Painting and Printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University. Goodich’s work, anchored in his African American and European bi-racial heritage, investigates non-gendered portraiture in numerous formal modes.
