Heavy rains drench Rajkot city late on Saturday evening
Rajkot: After a break, heavy rains lashed various parts of Saurashtra on Saturday. As per information received, heavy rains were witnessed at Rajkot, Dhoraji Gondal and parts of Gir Somnath district. Also, a woman in Amreli district died of lightning.
A 42-year-old woman identified as Vimla Chudsama from a village of Liliya taluka of Amreli district died after being struck by lightning. Liliya and Babra taluka of Amreli district were lashed by rains on Saturday.
In Dhoraji town too, heavy rains disrupted normal life on Saturday. Many roads were left waterlogged in the town and rain water also gushed inside several commercial establishments. In Rajkot city, rains lashed several areas like Yagnik road, Morbi road, Kalavad road and Sorathiyavadi. Many villages in Gondal taluka too witnessed rains.

લાંબા વિરામ બાદ ગુજરાતમાં ફરી ચોમાસું સક્રિય થવાના હવામાન ખાતા દ્વારા સંકેતો અપાયા છે. શનિવારથી અમદાવાદ સહિત રાજ્યના મોટાભાગના વિસ્તારમાં વરસાદી માહોલ સર્જાવાનું શરૂ થશે. જેમાં પ્રથમ દિવસે રાજ્યમાં વિવિધ વિસ્તારોમાં ગાજવીજ સાથે હળવો વરસાદ પડશે. રવિવારે દક્ષિણ અને મધ્ય ગુજરાતના પંચમહાલ, દાહોદ, મહિસાગર, છોટા ઉદેપુર, નવસારી, વલસાડમાં ભારે વરસાદ પડશે અને અન્ય વિસ્તારોમાં હળવો વરસાદ પડવાની હવામાન ખાતા દ્વારા આગાહી કરાઈ છે. સોમવારથી દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતની સાથે સાથે મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને સૌરાષ્ટ્રના કેટલાક વિસ્તારોમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદ પડવાની આગાહી પણ હવામાન ખાતાએ કરી છે.
શુક્રવારે સૌરાષ્ટ્રના અમરેલી, રાજકોટ, જામનગર, જુનાગઢ, પોરબંદર અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં વલસાડના વિવિધ વિસ્તારમાં છુટો છવાયો વરસાદ થયો હતો. જેમાં અમરેલીના ખાંભા તાલુકામાં સાંજે એક કલાકમાં પોણા ઈંચ જેટલો વરસાદ પડતાં લોકોને ગરમીથી રાહત મળી હતી. આમ રાજ્યમાં ફરી ચોમાસુ સક્રિય થઈ રહ્યું છે.
ચાર દિવસ દરમિયા ક્યાં કેટલો વરસાદ પડશે
શનિવાર: ડાંગ, નવસારી, વલસાડ, તાપી, દમણ, દાદરા નગર હવેલીમાં ભારે વરસાદ પડશે. અમદાવાદ, આણંદ, અરવલ્લી, દાહોદ, ગાંધીનગર, ખેડા, મહીસગર, મહેસાણા, પંચમહાલ, સાબરકાંઠા, અમરેલી, ભાવનગર, ગીર સોમનાથ, જુનાગઢ અને કચ્છમાં ગાજવીજ સાથે હળવાથી ભારે વરસાદ પડશે.
રવિવાર: પંચમહાલ, દાહોદ, મહિસાગર, છોટા ઉદેપુર, નવસારી, વલસાડમાં ભારે વરસાદ પડશે. દમણ, દાદરા નગર હવેલી, અમરેલી, ભાવનગર, બોટાદ, ગીર સોમનાથ, જુનાગઢ, પોરબંદર, રાજકોટ, સુરેન્દ્રનગર અને કચ્છમાં ગાજવીજ સાથે હળવો વરસાદ પડશે.
સોમવાર: નવસારી, વલસાડ, દમણ અને દાદરા નગર હવેલીમાં ભારેથી અતિભારે વરસાદ પડશે જ્યારે પંચમહાલ, દાહોદ, સુરત, ડાંગ, તાપી, અમરેલી, ભાવનગર અને બોટાદમાં ભારે વરસાદ પડશે.
મંગળવાર: સુરત, ડાંગ, નવસારી, વસલાડ, તાપી, દમણ અને દાદરાનગર હવેલી તેમજ અમરેલી અને ભાવનગરમાં ભારેથી અતિભારે વરસાદ પડશે. ખેડા, પંચમહાલ, દાહોદ, છોટા ઉદેપુર, રાજકોટ, ગીર સોમનાથ અને દિવમાં ભારે વરસાદ પડશે.
સૌરાષ્ટ્રમાં મેઘરાજાની એન્ટ્રી
રાજકોટ સહિત સૌરાષ્ટ્રના અનેક ભાગોમાં આજે અસહ્ય ઉકળાટ વચ્ચે આકાશમાં કાળાડીંબાગ વાદળો છવાયા હતા પણ મેઘરાજા મન મુકીને વરસતા નથી. જયારે અમરેલી પંથકમાં મેઘરાજાએ હેત વરસાવ્યું હતું અને અમરેલી, ખાંભા, લીલીયા, સાવરકુંડલા, લાઠી, રાજુલા, સાવરકુંડલામાં 1 થી 2 ઈંચ વરસાદ પડયો છે. આ વરસાદને કારણે વાતાવરણમાં થોડી ઠંડક પ્રસરી ગઈ છે. આ ઉપરાંત કુતિયાણા, પોરબંદર, વિસાવદર, જામજોધપુર અને જૂનાગઢમાં વરસાદના ઝાપટા પડયા હતા.
રાજકોટમાં આજે દિવસ દરમિયાન અસહ્ય ઉકળાટ રહ્યો હતો પણ ઝાપટાઓ સુધ્ધા પડયા ન હતા. જયારે અમરેલી પંથકમાં દિવસ દરમિયાન સખ્ત ઉકળાટ રહ્યા બાદ સાંજના સમયે વાતાવરણમાં પલ્ટો આવ્યો હતો અને એકાએક વરસાદ પડવો શરૃ થયો હતો.જેમાં અમરેલી શહેરમાં 54 મી.લી, ખાંભા-20, રાજુલા-3, લીલીયા-27, લાઠી-6 અને સાવરકુંડલામાં 25 મી.લી.વરસાદ પડયો હતો.
જયારે સાવરકુંડલાના ગ્રામ્ય પંથકમાં દોઢ થી બે ઈંચ વરસાદ પડયાના અહેવાલો મળી રહ્યા છે. આ ઉપરાંત રાજુલા આસપાસના ગામોમાં પણ સારો વરસાદ પડયાના અશહેવાલો મળી રહ્યા છે. ખાંભા પંથકમાં લાંબા વિરામ બાદ વરસાદની એન્ટ્રી થઈ છે અને શહેરમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદ પડયો હતો.ખાંભાના નાનુડી, રાયડી, ભાવરડી, ચકરાવા સહિત ગામમાં વરસાદ પડતા ખેડૂતોમાં ખુશી વ્યાપી ગઈ છે.
વાવણી બાદ મુરજાતી મોલાતને આ વરસાદથી સારો એવો ફાયદો થશે. જયારે જૂનાગઢમાં આજે સવારે હળવું વરસાદનું ઝાપટુ પડયું હતું અને તેને કારણે ઉકળાટમાં વધારો થયો હતો જયારે વિસાવદરમાં પણ સાંજના સમયે વરસાદી માહોલ વચ્ચે ઝાપટુ પડી ગયું હતું. જામજોધપુરમાં પણ માત્ર ૨ મી.લી વરસાદ પડયો હતો.
પોરબંદરમાં સવારે વરસાદી ઝાપટાઓ પડતા માર્ગાે ભીના થઈ ગયા હતા,તો કુતિયાણામાં 4 એમ.એમ.વરસાદ વરસ્યો હતો. થોડાસમય માટે વાતાવરણમાં ઠંડક પ્રસરી હતી પણ બાદમાં તડકો નીકળતા ફરીને બફારો શરૃ થઈ ગયો હતો. પોરબંદર તાલુકામાં 43 એમ.એમ,રાણાવાવ-19,કુતિયાણામાં 26 એમ.એમ.વરસાદ વરસ્યો હતો.
અમરેલી પંથકમાં 1થી 2 ઇંચ વરસાદ ખાબક્યો
અમરેલી પંથકમાં મેઘરાજાએ હેત વરસાવ્યું હતું અને અમરેલી, ખાંભા, લીલીયા, સાવરકુંડલા, લાઠી, રાજુલા, સાવરકુંડલામાં 1 થી 2 ઈંચ વરસાદ પડયો છે. આ વરસાદને કારણે વાતાવરણમાં થોડી ઠંડક પ્રસરી ગઈ છે. આ ઉપરાંત કુતિયાણા, પોરબંદર, વિસાવદર, જામજોધપુર અને જૂનાગઢમાં વરસાદના ઝાપટા પડયા હતા.
