CHICAGO – The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) has awarded a total of 6 students the Bound to Stay Bound and Melcher Scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year. Additionally, ALSC has sponsored 2 Spectrum Scholars and 1 additional Spectrum Scholar made possible through the generous support of Ellen Fader, 2005-2006 past-president. Four recipients were awarded the Bound to Stay Bound Books scholarship, which is made possible by Bound to Stay Bound Books, Inc. All four recipients will receive $8,000 in scholarship aid for the 2021-2022 academic year. The four recipients are Molly Boehm, attending Longwood University; Dana Fanslow, attending the University of Illinois; Lindsay Robins, attending North Carolina Central University; and Scott Shaffer, attending Clarion University. ....
