GRAFTON Sea lions are heading to Jersey County this summer.
Officials at Raging Rivers Water Park in Grafton on Thursday announced a new Sea Lion Splash Show will be offered at the park June 19-27.
The traveling sea lion show, promoted as the only one of its kind in the U.S., showcases one-of-a-kind displays, singing, dancing and acrobatics. The show is operated by Squalus, Inc., an organization that provides homes for beached sea lions unable to return to the wild.
The show features sea lions from both California and the Patagonia region of South America. Each show also will offer opportunities for people to interact with the animals.
