Alabama lawmakers pass bill to combat squatting on private property
Following a nationwide surge in squatting, State Representative Craig Lipscomb (R - Gadsden) brought forward legislation in the Alabama House which later passed that protects owners in the state from squatters taking residence inside their homes as well as on their property.
